About JustDialStudent

As a students at University of London, we were fed-up with having to spend hundreds of pounds on international phone calls. Whether it was essential contact with family or friends abroad, or just a chat, it seemed ridiculous that normal calling costs, from mobile phones and landlines, were so prohibitive. It never used to be possible to have a comfortable chat with friends in the US without worrying about getting a huge bill (a surprisingly easy way to get into yet more debt!). We both tried using phone cards and the calling over Internet, but the quality was so bad you could hardly hear the person you were talking to...

...so together with the help of a global telecommunications firm and some of my mates from uni, we set up JustDialStudent: which changed everything. You can use JustDialStudent to pay national rates for international calls. This means it will cost you the same to phone a friend in UK as it will to phone a friend overseas. Why JustDialStudent?

After a few £300 phone bills, we decided that something had to be done. JustDialStudent was born in early 2002 and it became our aim to get information about the service out to every student in the country using the web, flyers, posters, advertising, etc. Please help spread the word by printing out a poster and putting it up in your Union/halls/flat or, at the very least, e-mailing, texting or calling a couple of friends to tell them about it!
